Brisbane, Australia CNN —For more than a decade, Australian billionaire Clive Palmer has been the driving force behind plans to build Titanic II – a replica of the ill-fated ship that sank in 1912 with more than 2,200 people on board. Palmer first launched plans for Titanic II in 2012, and again in 2018. Palmer, chairman of the Blue Star Line company behind the Titanic project, also had other issues on his agenda. Of Titanic II, Clive Palmer says it'll be the "ship of love." Titanic ll will be the ship where those dreams come true,’’ Palmer said.

CNN —English soccer clubs Coventry City and Sheffield Wednesday have jointly condemned a “racist gesture” allegedly aimed at Coventry midfielder Kasey Palmer during their match on Saturday. Palmer, who is Black, said it was a “couple” of fans making “monkey chants.”The alleged incident took place during a match in the Championship, English football’s second tier, which Coventry won 2-1 at Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough stadium. “Disappointed to even have to come on here & write this,” Palmer said on X, formerly known as Twitter. “They’re ignorant people… You can be booed or whistled when you’re away from home, that’s normal, but what happened today has no place in football,” Maignan said. The match resumed less than 10 minutes later, and Milan would win a dramatic encounter 3-2 in the final minutes.

LONDON (AP) — It took Kevin De Bruyne less than five minutes to show why his return from injury could be so crucial for Manchester City in the second half of the Premier League season. De Bruyne had not made a league appearance since the opening round of the season in August, but it looked like he'd never been away. And in stoppage time, he lifted a perfectly weighted ball into the box for substitute Oscar Bobb to score his first Premier League goal and complete the comeback. Only two games were played Saturday with half of the Premier League teams having the weekend off for a short winter break. It was the 21-year-old Palmer’s ninth league goal of the season and fifth from the penalty spot after joining from Man City in the offseason.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — “Nope” star Keke Palmer alleges in civil court documents that she suffered physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, with whom she shares a son. The filing this week in Los Angeles County Superior Court included a request for a domestic violence restraining order against Darius Jackson, 29. Telephone messages seeking comment from Jackson were left on voicemail at a number associated with his address as listed in the court filing. She said she dated Jackson from June 2021 until the relationship ended this past October because of physical and emotional abuse. Representatives for Palmer did not immediately respond to emails seeking comment from the star.

The most common side effects reported in the trial participants were low white blood cells and lymph cells, rash and headache. Without insulin, blood sugar can build up in the bloodstream and break down the body’s own fat and muscle. With Tzield, doctors would screen individual family members of people with type 1 diabetes to see whether they have those specific antibodies. As of 2019, about 1.9 million people have type 1 diabetes in the United States, according to the American Diabetes Association, including 244,000 children and adolescents.
